Human Exposure Assessment Scientist opportunity

Peter Fisk Associates Limited and PFA-Brussels (together the PFA Group of companies https://pfagroup.eu/) is a well-respected consultancy specializing in assessment of hazards and risks of substances, usually for regulatory purposes. We are looking for Human Exposure Assessment Scientist to join our team, based at our offices in Brussels, Belgium or Canterbury, UK.
The role will involve coordination and of conducting exposure-related work across the PFA group. You will be required to contribute at a technical level to multi-disciplinary teams working on projects relating to regulation of chemicals and biocidal products.
The position is suitable for applicants holding a minimum bachelor-level in Chemistry or a related discipline and preferably 5 – 10 years’ experience working in the field of chemical regulation and exposure assessment. It is essential to have detailed and practical understanding of the standard risk assessment tools used for REACH Chemical Safety Assessment and knowledge of exposure models relevant to the Biocidal Products Regulation would be an advantage.

Availability to start by early 2020 will be a significant advantage. Remuneration packages are competitive with industry norms, typically €70k in Brussels/ £50k in UK, negotiable.
