Peter Fisk

Peter Fisk is a chemist, with fifteen years experience in industrial research and development, and over eleven years as a consultant working for regulatory authorities, industry and publishers. He has a background in laboratory science, as well as comprehensive knowledge of chemical regulation, providing an exceptional combination of experience.

Andrew Girling

Andrew Girling is an ecotoxicologist who has worked in the chemical and oil industries for eighteen years. His research experience is extensive, including aquatic and terrestrial testing for classification and risk assessment and higher level testing in the laboratory and field. He has also played a lead role in the development and adoption of risk assessment methods for complex and difficult test substances.

Louise McLaughlin

Louise McLaughlin has a background in analytical chemistry, and worked in the registration department of a highly-regarded UK laboratory before joining the PFA team. She has wide experience in method development and various issues of regulatory compliance for a range of substance types, including industrial chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates and pesticides.

Ros Wildey

Ros Wildey has a background in chemistry, and joined Peter Fisk Associates in 1999. Since then she has worked for many different clients and acquired experience in a wide variety of technical areas. These include environmental risk assessment, QSAR, industry research, and data management, including the use of specialist computer programs such as EUSES, IUCLID and fugacity models.

Helen Barnes

Helen Barnes trained as a biochemist. She has worked part time at Peter Fisk Associates since January 2002. She has experience in the area of mammalian toxicology, and has a particular interest in aspects of mammalian QSAR. Her role includes fugacity modelling, biodegradation assessment, research in the open literature, collation and review of chemical data, and preparation of technical text for various clients and projects. She maintains a watching brief on REACH, and environmental aspects of agricultural law, and changing regulations relating to environmental protection.

Lucy Wilmot

Lucy Wilmot is a chemist with a background in environmental science and geochemistry. Lucy has been involved with research, data gathering and review since joining PFA in 2007.

Diane Wilkin
Diane Wilkin joined PFA in 2003. Her main role is administration, including data management. She is also a qualified graphic designer who lends her design skills to some of PFA's projects, including original graphic designs for this website.

Steve Austin
Steve Austin joined the administration staff of PFA in 2006. His work is integral to the day to day operation of PFA's Quality Management System. His other roles assisting the team include monitoring REACH regulation updates.
