Peter Fisk is a chemist, with fifteen years experience in industrial research and development, and over thirteen years as a consultant working for regulatory authorities, industry and publishers. He has a background in laboratory science, and methods of chemical property prediction, as well as wide knowledge of chemical regulation, providing a powerful combination of experience.

Andrew Girling

Andrew Girling is an ecotoxicologist who has worked in the chemical and oil industries for over twenty years. His research experience is extensive, including aquatic and terrestrial testing for classification and risk assessment and higher level testing in the laboratory and field. He has also played a lead role in the development and adoption of risk assessment methods for complex and difficult test substances.

Louise McLaughlin

Louise McLaughlin has a background in analytical chemistry, and worked in the registration department of a highly-regarded UK laboratory before joining the PFA team. She has wide experience in method development and various issues of regulatory compliance for a range of substance types, including industrial chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates and pesticides. She is involved in all aspects of risk characterisation for human health and the environment for REACH compliance.

Ros Wildey

Ros Wildey has a background in chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry, and joined Peter Fisk Associates in 1999. Her technical work at PFA centres mainly on properties relevant to physical chemistry and assessment of exposure, hazard and risk for the environment. Ros has experience of application of QSAR, data management techniques, and the use of EUSES, IUCLID and fugacity models, particularly in the context of compliance with REACH.

Helen Barnes

Helen Barnes trained as a biochemist. She has worked part time at Peter Fisk Associates since January 2002. She has experience in the area of mammalian toxicology especially mutagenicity, and has a particular interest in aspects of mammalian QSAR. Her role includes fugacity modelling, biodegradation assessment, research in the open literature, collation and review of chemical data, and preparation of technical text for various clients and projects. She has experience of IUCLID 5 data entry, and collation of mutagenicity data for REACH Registration.

Jacky Chen
Jacky Chen is a chemist, who joined Peter Fisk Associates in September 2008. Much of his work is REACH-related and includes development of material for Technical Dossiers using the IUCLID program, working mainly in the area of the physico-chemical property data set, as well as collation and review of chemical data, and production of reports.

Helen Disley
Helen Disley trained as a chemist and completed a PhD in bioinorganic chemistry. Since joining Peter Fisk Associates in 2008, her responsibilities have included programme co-ordination and complex data tracking and management, with a strong focus on compliance with REACH Regulation. She is also involved with techniques for data gap filling, particularly though molecular modelling.

David Akinosho
David Akinosho trained as a chemist and has an MSc in Environmental Engineering. His work at PFA is mainly REACH-related and involves developing generic exposure scenarios and risk characterisation of substances. He is also involved with project management activity.

Ola Dosunmu
Ola Dosunmu joined the PFA team in spring 2009. Ola is a chemist and environmental scientist with a background in industrial and analytical chemistry, and prior experience of quality management to the standards of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. At PFA, he is already active on data collation and review, project planning, and report writing, with a particular focus on REACH compliance for naturally-occurring multiconstituent substances.

Gillian Federici
Gillian Federici joined the technical team in spring 2009 as a trainee ecotoxicologist and is already working actively on review and collation of chemical property data in the context of REACH compliance. Gillan has a background in ecology and aquatic ecotoxicology and her main area of focus since joining PFA has been in the area of environmental hazard assessment relating to various projects.

Lucy Wilmot
Lucy Wilmot is a chemist with a background in environmental science and geochemistry. Lucy has been involved with research, data gathering and review since joining PFA in 2007. In the context of REACH Lucy has been particularly involved with chemical composition and ‘sameness’, and review of physico-chemical and environmental-related properties, moving into the field of environmental fate modelling for exposure assessment.

Anna Barratt
Anna Barratt joined the PFA team in January 2009. Anna's role is integral to the REACH consortium management services provided by PFA. She also provides scientific support to the technical team on REACH-related projects.

Diane Wilkin
Diane Wilkin joined PFA in 2003. Her main role is administration, including data management. She is also a qualified graphic designer who lends her design skills to some of PFA's projects, including original graphic designs for this website.

Steve Austin
Steve Austin joined the administration staff of PFA in 2006. His work is integral to the day to day operation of PFA's Quality Management System. His other roles assisting the team include monitoring REACH regulation updates.

Hannah Naude
Hannah Naude joined the staff of PFA in 2009. Her main role is to provide additional support in running the administration services as PFA expands to better aid our customers.
